Manual entry of card information (no swipe or dip).
To manually enter a card on the PAX S80 terminal, follow these steps:

Start a Sale Transaction:
- Press the “Sale” button on the terminal's main screen.

Enter the Transaction Amount:
- Type in the amount of the transaction using the keypad and then press “Enter.”

Select Manual Entry:
- When prompted to swipe the card, choose the option for manual entry. This is often done by pressing a designated key (like “F2”) or selecting "Manual Entry" on the screen.

Input Card Information:
- Enter the 16-digit card number using the keypad and press “Enter.”
- Next, input the expiration date in the format MMYY (e.g., “0525” for May 2025) and press “Enter.”

Enter the CVV:
- If prompted, enter the CVV (the 3-digit code on the back of the card) and press “Enter.”

Enter Billing ZIP Code (if required):
- Some merchants require the billing ZIP code associated with the card. Enter it as prompted and press “Enter.”

Complete the Transaction:
- The terminal will process the payment. If approved, it will print a receipt for both the merchant and the customer.
Using manual entry is useful if the card cannot be swiped or inserted, but keep in mind that it typically incurs higher processing fees and carries a greater risk of fraud.
